In the past, we’ve covered various Destiny 2 currencies and today we are going to be talking about one of the most coveted currencies in the game; Bright Dust. Before we get into how to farm it, it is important to understand what it is, where you can use it, what you can get with it, and why it is one of the most scarce and sought-after currencies in the game.

What is Bright Dust?

Bright Dust is one of the many currencies available in Destiny 2 but unlike most resources in the game, it is extremely rare, hard to get, and worth saving up. It is supposed to be an extremely rare resource and is one of the brightest substances in the Destiny universe.

Where Can Bright Dust Be Used?

There is only one store in the entire Destiny 2 universe that accepts Bright Dust as a currency and that is the Eververse store. The Eververse store acts as an in-game shop that you can use in order to get stuff that you can pay money for. The store is most famous for cosmetic items such as emotes, sparrows, ghosts, and ornaments but that is not all that it has to offer. It also sells the expansions that are native to Destiny 2, the season pass, as well as other progression-based items such as season pass levels, and consumables that will allow you to progress faster in the game.

It is because of those reasons that Eververse is so popular among both new and veteran players as it gives them a chance to include items in their inventory that used to be in rotation for particular seasons and allows them to customize their gear in such a way that they stand out from the rest.

What Can Bright Dust Be Used For?

Since Bright Dust is only accepted by the Eververse store, it would make sense that everything in the store could be potentially bought with enough Bright Dust but that is not the case. There are specific items that can be bought with only Bright Dust and the list includes:
